hope you are all keeping safe and well?
Last week was a great Halloween themed night with many of the participants dressing up for the event. Apologies to Frank and Betty for not letting them know we had changed our clocks over here the weekend before which meant they had been waiting for an hour to get onto zoom worried that there was a problem. We managed most of the songs in the Halloween book lead by various people, Jo bravely took on Bat out of hell which went really well, so well done on that one. We then went back to the random wheel to finish off the night. It did throw us McNamaras band which we thought could only be done by Mick to leave us with that annoying earworm just before we finish. The Halloween songbook and tonight’s Film Night songbook along with the latest NUGs songbook should all be available to download on the website.

This week as a bit of a departure from the usual open mic night we thought we would have a theme. An easy one to start with so I picked songs from films, we have 14 songs that have been sent in. Hopefully I have captured all of the entries, if I have missed you off please let me know and I can add you in. We are looking for a theme for the next open mic so please send in your suggestions
