Hello everyone,

This week we’re at The Lamplighter again – from 7:00 pm ish to 10:00 pm ish

This is the 83rd songlist I have produced since we started (Other peoples contributions always welcome)

As we only have 12 weeks until Christmas day it won’t be long until we break out the trusty Christmas book, I know some of you are far more excited about that than others 🙂

The other thing we need t think about is the Christmas dinner, we usually have a Christmas dinner and a sing along the first or second Thursday in December open to partners friends and even random people you met on the street as long as they pay their own way. We will need to decide soon so that we can sort out where we are playing during December.

Carrying with my theme from a couple of weeks ago the night will start something like this

Don’t marry her
House of gold
These boots were made for walking
Burning love
Fight song
Going to the chapel
Karma Chameleon
Last train to Clarksville
Miss Otis regrets
River Deep
American Pie (Just for Mick)

Take care and see you at the Lamplighter

Ian …

Hi everyone,

Hope your week has been good since we last go together. Back at the Lamplighter again this week from 7:00 pm ish to 10:00 pm ish. We are going back to the 2nd Thursday of the month at the Olde Red Lion and all other weeks at The Lamplighter.

We don’t usually ask for any money but earlier this year Gary and Bernie set up the website for us. This does cost us and we asked for a donation of ÂŁ3 toward the website charges. The money we originally have has now gone toward those charges and was wondering if anyone who didn’t contribute last time would like to donate now?

Wendy is always willing to accept any donations 🙂

On to the songlist which this week has been provided by Colin, don’t forget you can all make a list up:

Dedicated Follower of Fashion
I Will Survive
Space Oddity
Mrs. Robinson
Half The World Away
It Must Be Love
My Life
Daydream Believer
Let It Be
Big Yellow Taxi
Mad World
All the best,

Ian & Mick

Hi everyone,

This week we’ll be at The Lamplighter Pub from 7:00 pm ish to 10:00 pm ish…

We had a great day out on the canal on Sunday with a lot of laughter and awful singing but I think everyone enjoyed themselves. We will hopefully be booking again for next year.

Another week gone and another great playlist from Wendy, she is becoming a regular at this. Don’t forget you are all welcome to send in a list of your favourite songs from any of our books and also any new songs you fancy us having a go at.

Just send in about 12 songs and we will do the rest.
This weeks list will be
Blame it on me
Breakfast at Tiffanys
Eight days a week
House of Gold
If you could read y mind
A little respect
All the single ladies
Common people
Dancing in the dark
You and I
Tainted love

Here is a Youtube clip of All the single ladies on ukulele…

If we have time there are three more new songs to have a go at.

Our roving song collector Kay, who spends lots of time drinking wine and searching out songs for our delectation, has come up with the following three songs. (And of course will have to sing them to us all to let us know the standard of singing expected 🙂  )

Somehow if I have managed to do this new fangled  thing correctly clicking on the song title below and then maybe clicking again on the new page may take you somewhere near the song. There again it might take you off in a different direction completely, go wild and try it.  Oh and you will find a you tube video for us all to aspire to!

Karma Chameleon

Oh Mary don’t you weep

Walking on sunshine

All the best,
