After the outcome of last week’s referendum and all the hateful and nasty things being said by both the “Ins” and “Outs” I feel it is a good time to create a new political party where everyone is welcome to join. It shall be known as the Ukulele Party, our aims would be to have fun, sing and strum like no one else is listening and to chat to your neighbours. What a great party conference that would make.
That’s the end of my political broadcast on behalf of the newly formed ukulele party of which you are all invited on Thursday evenings.
This week’s song list will consist of the usual selection of songs thrown together at the last minute:
Make me smile
Swords of a thousand men
River deep mountain high (New chords)
Don’t you want me
It must be love
Read my mind
See you all this Thursday and remember if you can make it on Saturday 2nd July we will see you at Billing Brook School Penistone Road, Northampton, Lumbertubs NN3 8EZ from 12 noon for our next gig
